Watch enough basketball and you know that having the ability to close-out on shooters has become just as important as any defensive skill a player can have. This drill works on that part of the game while adding in some curl-cut shooting and of course conditioning.
- 90 seconds (45 secs each side)
- Start in Defensive Stance simulating help side
- Close out hard to the corner with choppy feet and TWO hands up
- Curl in to elbow for a pull-up jump shot
- Try to make 12
